AET APPOINTS NEW MARKETING MANAGER FOR MOVINORD

Advanced Ergonomic Technologies (AET) has appointed Anne Marriner as General Manager of its Office Interiors Division. Anne will be in charge of all activities relating to its high quality Movinord Fully Demountable and Relocatable Partitioning System - an integral component of AET’s Flexible Space Concept, which also features Hiross underfloor air-conditioning and Nesite raised access flooring.

Anne brings to her new role five years of experience as facilities and marketing manager for AET, working closely with property developers, architects, services designers and building owners. She has considerable knowledge in the design, installation and implementation requirements needed to create a genuinely flexible office environment. Prior to AET, Anne worked for top European manufacturers in a variety of client focused positions, including several years at Wirsbo, the Swedish underfloor heating manufacturer.

Glan Blake Thomas, managing director at AET, said, “Anne’s new position within the company will utilise her excellent people and marketing skills. It will also make use of her experience in running buildings fitted with Hiross underfloor air-conditioning and demountable Movinord partitioning to highlight the issues of future proofing to the UK office fit out market.”

With its unique, patented steel splice profile and joint, the Movinord product range is precision engineered where the different components have been perfectly designed for easy assembly, and when required, simple and inexpensive relocation. When used in conjunction with raised flooring and all services being routed underfloor (including air conditioning), the truly flexible office environment is established. This combination of elements allows allow facilities managers to create a complete, easy to reconfigure office environment solution, bringing unrivalled flexibility and cost-savings in office design and function.

Manufactured in Spain using ultra-modem technology which provides the best in aesthetic decor, the Movinord product range has successfully passed a number of tests in different laboratories on technical aspects including sound insulation, fire resistance and element interchangeability. One particular system within the range has a fire rating of up to one hour under BS 476 part 22 and a sound insulation rating of 42dBA under BS2750.

With over 15 years experience in bringing flexibility to commercial developments across the world and 20 million sq ft of reference projects worldwide, AET has a proven track record in bringing flexibility to the workplace.

As well as the Movinord Demountable Partitioning System, AET’s Flexible Space Concept incorporates Hiross underfloor air-conditioning, Nesite raised access floors, the Venitzia range of carpet tiles and Electropatent power voice and data cabling. AET also offers a consultancy service designed to support property developers, architects, services designers and building owners by offering advice on the design and implementation of the interior services required to create a genuinely flexible office environment.
