Robust solution for ceilings

British Gypsum has launched a new deeper GypLyner bracket that enables its market-leading to be used as a Robust Detail solution for concrete plank floors.

The new GypLyner GL12 Bracket is a specially designed component that allows the British Gypsum GypLyner UNIVERSAL ceiling system to be used at a cavity depth of 150mm, the minimum required to meet the CT0 ceiling lining specification for Robust Detail E-FC-3, E-FC-4 and E-FC-5 concrete plank constructions. The increase in cavity depth from 125mm to 150mm also gives the system more flexibility to accommodate services in a range of other applications.

GypLyner is one of the most popular methods of providing a seamless suspended ceiling lining to timber joist and concrete floors in all types of new build and refurbished buildings, from small residential to large commercial developments. A choice of brackets allows cavity depth to be adjusted to allow changes in soffit height, or to accommodate insulation or service routing.

The new GypLyner GL12 Bracket is available from leading merchants and specialist drywall distributors from October 2006.
