New bits make life a breeze

Since its successful launch in 1997, the Hunter Plumbers Bits range has been continually updated and refined to make it the broadest and most user-friendly range around. Now Hunter has further expanded the range with the addition of the Options range of plumbing accessories and two new traps. The whole range – including the new additions and useful information on drainage design and installation - has also been encapsulated in a handy Plumber Bits Pocket Guide.

The new Plumbers Bits Options includes a range of products that every plumber needs to complete a job including hoses, nozzles and connector. The range also features a new Plumbers Bits tundish, launched by Hunter for installers fitting interior bathrooms where it is simply not possible to discharge overflow water to the outside of the building. Available in bright white to match overflow pipework, the new Hunter tundish offers conspicuous indication that the WC cistern is overflowing.

The latest additions to the Plumbers Bits range are two handy new traps, launched in response to installer requests. Firstly a new Straight-through Pedestal Trap has been designed to fit snugly behind even narrow basin pedestals making it the perfect solution for plumbing small cloakrooms and bathrooms. Hunter’s new trap is adjustable and discreet making it the installers’ choice for its ‘no call back’ design. The second new trap is a classic bottle trap – but this time in chrome to complement the sleek modern design of many new bathrooms. The new chrome trap comes complete with a 400mm length of chrome pipe to complete the job neatly.

All of the Plumbers’ Bits products are designed to help plumbers out of the most awkward installation problems, and have been conceived with ease of use and reliability in mind. Although traps and WC connectors may only form a small part of the total project cost, poor quality products can prove a false economy, causing unnecessary and costly call-backs. Hunter’s Plumbers Bits have a number of unique design features that make them simple and quick to install and reliable to fit – for example, easy-grip nuts that are simple to tighten, even with wet hands or in those confined, hard to reach places.
