Poujoulat Relocate to Guildford

Europe’s number one stainless steel chimney manufacturer Poujoulat has increased its investment in the UK by purchasing a brand new head office and distribution warehouse for its British subsidiary Poujoulat (UK) Ltd. Located at Quadrum Park, Guildford the new building provides increased office and storage space as well as a modern showroom, training and conference facilities.

Poujoulat (UK) Ltd’s managing director, Mark Mills said,
"This building represents a massive step forward for Poujoulat in the UK and is the catalyst for all our future growth plans. We now have the ability to stock in much larger volumes and process in and outbound deliveries far more efficiently. Our customers will notice the improved availability of core and special products as we move into the new heating season.
More importantly we will now also be able to organise professional training in our products and work with other industry bodies to grow understanding of industry standards and regulations thus contributing to the development of the chimney industry in this country which goes hand in hand with our own development.

The relocation is however just part of our development this year. We have also recruited high quality staff in a number of key roles within the company. David Reid joins as Technical Manager and Paul Inch as Housing Manager. With recent regulatory changes and the drive toward greater energy efficiency in house building, we have a strong message for the house buyer in terms of lifestyle and the builder regarding SAP calculations.

We are already experiencing strong growth year on year and with further investment to come the future is extremely positive’
