Poundfield wins £150,000 of new orders
Poundfield Products has won three big new orders,
totalling more than £150,000.
At Great Yarmouth Port Authority, 100 large Alfablocs
are being used to create a U-shaped bay to store bulk
materials, prior to loading for onward transport. This
is the second large order from the Norfolk port.
Two further orders, both for Poundfield L-blocs are
destined for the construction industry, with projects in
Birmingham and York. All the L-blocs being supplied are
being made to exact customer specifications, with
sloping tops to create a ramp to a tipping area for
trucks. The Suffolk-based company, which developed the
unique Alfabloc A-profile retaining wall system and the
unique pre-stressed interlocking L-bloc, has customers
across the logistics, materials handling, horticultural
and construction industries.

advantages over alternative products. It is easy and
fast to install, has no protruding toe and can often be
used freestanding, which makes it easy to reconfigure
storage spaces.

interlocking joints make installation quicker and
