Fire Risk Assessment will be required by Law from
October 2006 for all businesses, HMO's, educational
premises, nursing homes and other non-domestic
organisations.
Employers or owners of businesses will be required to
carry out their own documented Fire Risk Assessment and
manage their fire risks and remedial actions.
Are you prepared for the extra responsibility this law
will place on you?
If you are an employer, self employed with premises,
part of a voluntary organisation or if you are
responsible for buildings with public access, then the
new legislation will effect you.
The new law no longer requires the need for fire
certificates but:
● emphasises the prevention and reduction of risk of
fires
● makes you responsible for the safety of those who use
your premises
Failure to carry out the required assessment could lead
to enforcement action or even prosecution.

to you following the assessment.

VAT)
Assessment for 21 to 50 employees - £581.63 (494.00 ex
VAT)
