Safelincs granted sole distribution rights in UK for Thoms Fire
Escape Chute
The Thoms Escape Chute is suitable for high rise
buildings and anywhere, where rapid evacuation of a
large number of people is required. This Fire Escape
Chute has been installed worldwide in embassies, hotels,
nurseries, schools and similar buildings.
Thoms Escape Chute is also suitable for listed buildings
where an external ladder is not permitted, or for any
application, where the ladder should not be visible from
the outside of the building. The Chute is stored in a
white container, which can be situated inside the
building underneath a window, on a balcony or on a flat
roof.
The Thoms Escape Chutes are GS certified by TÜV.
The Thoms Escape Chute is very simple to deploy and can
be ready for use within 1 minute, even if deployed by
somebody, who is not technically minded.
Between 8-10 people can evacuate a building at a height
of 30 metres (100 feet) in just two minutes.
