Solarlux – all round innovation
Solarlux has been a leader in the design and
production of quality folding facades, winter gardens,
balcony glazing and patio canopies. They will be
exhibiting at “BAU” in Munich 15 – 20 Jan 2007.
SDL Nobiles
On display will be the new SDL Nobiles Winter Garden
–the newly developed slim profile design of the roof
members give the impression of being weightless. In
addition clever design features simplify the
installation process.
XXL – the oversize folding façade.
Quieter, lighter and higher – this is the short formula
for our next product on display. The SDL70e folding
façade reaches a height of 3.5m. The introduction of
stainless steel ball bearings and stainless steel tracks
makes for an easy, smooth and quiet operation.
Additional features of the SL70e are on the entry/exit
panel where the panel locks into the adjoining panel to
enhance wind load and security performance. The SL70e is
suitable for business entrances, shop fronts, leisure as
well as domestic applications – winter gardens and pool
glazing.
Patio Canopies
The SDL Atrium and SDL Aura un-insulated patio canopies
are further examples of Solarlux innovation in design.
The slimline, single pitch roof designs with steel
reinforcement, make large roof structures with a high
load bearing capacity possible. By using the
sliding/swivel panel system proven by Solarlux folding
facades it is possible to use the patio canopies in
stages to provide all round protection. All panels can
be moved out of the way to preserve the original concept
of the patio.
An economic Balcony Solution
The Solarlux modular Balcony system combines balcony
parapet and glazing as an innovative and economic
solution to exposed balconies. It allows users extended
use of an underused recreational area. The balcony
elements are designed and delivered as a pre-assembled
unit, reducing installation time to a minimum. The
“balcony tower” shown on the Exhibition stand
illustrates the modular system.
Visitors to the stand will be introduced to the new
corporate branding of the Solarlux name to be used by
all our trading partners worldwide. Information events
are also planned for architects and specifiers. Solarlux
will be exhibiting in Hall B1 Stand no 121.
